Main events:
- Family having an average night, boys doing homework.
- Six shots rang out in the night, and Peter runs outside to find Fake Pleog dead.
- Korteweg & Karin moves the body in front of carefree.
- Peter tries to move the body and gets caught bye the police so grabs Ploeg’s gun and runs.
- Germans come and force them out of their house, parents are taken away while Anton is shoved into a truck.
- House is burnt down.
- Anton is dropped off at police station and put in the room/cell with the woman (Truus)
- They exchange stories and fell asleep against her.
- Anton is woken up and taken on motorcycle to Harlem.
- Schmaltz (goose fat) sandwich given to him by elderly sergeant
- Taken to his aunt & uncle in Amsterdam with convoy, which is attacked by an air raid.
- Goes home with Uncle in Amsterdam.
